Madalena
Founder & programme Director
Madalena launched We Live Language (formerly known as The Alma Collective) in 2016 after graduating from Google Campus’ Start Up School for Mums. Her background in design and her insights as a native trilingual child & mother allow her to turn academic findings into practical solutions. Judy
Editor and Content strategist
Judy joined in 2019 as an advisor on strategy, social media and outreach. Her background in media and the start up scene allows her to combine video and planning seamlessly. She works to get our stories in front of a larger audience judy@welivelanguages.com
Daniel
Product Designer
Daniel started in 2021 with the mission to launch We Live Languages’ first app. His experience in designing solutions for both corporates as well as start ups helps us to reach for the stars. daniel@welivelanguages.com
Anika

Anika is the mind behind our map for raising multilingual children and helps expand our visual universe. She joined our team in 2020 to develop our narratives. anika@welivelanguages.com
About our origins as the Alma Collective
Alma means leap (Greek), nurture (Latin) and soul (Portuguese). It is an apple (Hungarian), a space telescope (Chile) and an asteroid (390 Alma). It is a beautiful girl's name and shows the diversity and range of possibilities that exist out there.
