FAQ

We help parents successfully raise multilingual children. For that, we work on defining their goals. Many are raising multilingual children, but sometimes something doesn’t quite work. What is it, where does it come from, how can you get past it?

Q. What services do you offer?

A. Based on our methodology, we offer personal coaching, online courses, in-person workshops and talks at corporates. Our background is design, which means we are solution-oriented and use this to create the perfect learning experience for you. We are not Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs) and do not work with children, but we can recommend some when necessary.

Q. Who is this for?

A. Our main target audience are parents from pregnancy to preschool, but you are welcome anytime if you need help with raising multilingual children.

If you are unsure whether that applies to you, go through these ten statements about raising multilingual children and take it from there.

Q. I’M unsure where to start…

A. You are not alone! Many of us struggle to define what they could do to improve their language balances. We’ve come up with a quiz that provides you with a crucial insight to use on your journey and designed a map to help you visualise your path. Our methodology merges research with elements of pop-culture to inspire you.

Q. Are you a charity?

A. No. We share some similarities in approach, ie the “stop. think. act” communication-style, but we are an independent profit-seeking entity. We generate money through our programme and would love to realise many more projects through partnerships, advertising and sponsorship. If that’s your thing we’d love to hear from you.

Q. Where do you operate from?

A. Generally speaking the internet, but our people are based in Frankfurt (Germany) and London (UK). We love travelling for work purposes, though it has become somewhat tricky of lately, so why don’t you invite us for a virtual presentation at yours?

Q. Who is behind We Live Languages?

A. You, because we hope you like our work :) If not described otherwise, the answer is most likely Madalena or any other team member. We are independent, neither part of a large conglomerate nor government-funded. Want to support our work? Go book a course and tell others about us.
